Plan of the Week: Simple Accent Stool

I think a stool is one of the most versatile small furniture items you can make. You can use one as a stand for a plant, a place to set a drink (next to a chair), a footrest, a seat, or a step to help you reach something. I have one by the garage door that doubles as a place to stage paper recyclables before they go in the recycling bin.

The Chief’s Shop Simple Accent Stool requires only three pieces of lumber. A miter saw, jigsaw, drill/driver, and Kreg Jig are all you need to complete it.
