Sketch of the Day: Canopy Bed

The fifth and last of the Viewer’s Choice sketches is a canopy bed (sans canopy). It features four large posts designed to look like columns, and is sized for a queen mattress. The rails across the top frame are slotted, so they could be moved to accommodate a canopy. If this were to become a plan, I’d rework this framework a bit as needed to work with a specific canopy design.

Sketch of the Day: Twin Bed

This twin bed is a variation of a version I recently did as part of a series for a potential custom job. I like the contrast of the light gray against the darker body color.

Sketch of the Day: Twin Platform Bed

Here’s a little break from the outdoor concepts. This fits a standard twin mattress. Note that the platform isn’t one solid piece – there is slight spacing between the slats. Hidden behind the leg assemblies are posts.
