Sketch of the Day: Fence Planter

Exactly like a window box, this fence planter concept is attached via a French cleat. That detail is best observed in the video below. I would want to make sure that the fence cleat is attached to a post and rails on the fence.

Sketch of the Day: Connected Raised Planters

Last planter concept for the week. You could connect as many of these together as desired. The red boards in the center are merely dividers.

Sketch of the Day: Diamond Planter

It’s planter week! Here’s another concept – boxes within boxes. Another way of creating segmented areas for dividing plants.

Sketch of the Day: Raised Trough Planter

I call this concept a trough planter because of the top section, which I’ve designed to be respositioned as needed to allow for larger or smaller plant areas.

Sketch of the Day: Pyramid Planter

While working on the design for the Strawberry Pyramid planter I created for Bonnie Plants, I worked up several different designs. Here is one similar to what was selected. This one is a bit bigger, with a few more sections for planting.

Plan of the Week: Raised Planter

The Chief’s Shop Raised Planter  makes gardening easier for those who find it difficult to bend over and/or kneel when working in the garden. It’s just plain easy to reach at a working height of 36 inches. I’ve also designed it so it can be built with or without a Kreg Pocket Hole Jig.
