Plan of the Week: No-Cut Pedestal Table

The  Chief’s Shop No-Cut Pedestal Table is a good beginner project in that you can complete it without having to make cuts (see my note about this in the instructions). You’ll simply need a nailer or hammer, drill/driver, and Kreg Jig to complete it.

This set of plans also has a slight layout change which I’ll be implementing for the smaller and less complex projects. You’ll also notice active links within the pdf that take you to specific pages on my site. Give me some feedback and let me know if you like the change.

Sketch of the Day: Pedestal Table

Here is another future no-cut plan. This is made up of two 15-inch edge-glued round panels, three 1 x 8 x 2s, and two 1 x 3 x 2s. You could put it together for less than $40.

Countdown to Thanksgiving Projects: Pedestal Table

Between now and the day before Thanksgiving, I’ll be posting links to projects that will provide seating or table space for the holiday.

This is the fastest Pedestal Table project you’ll run across. It’s perfect for laying out a pre-Thanksgiving snack spread. Click on the image below to download the plan.

The top is in stock at Lowe’s – you don’t even have to cut it. You’ll need to be able to find the center of the top, however, so be sure to take a look at my video on how to do that:
