Plan of the Week: Patio Chair

Place the Chief’s Shop Patio Chair on a patio as the name implies, or on a deck, front porch, or anywhere in your yard. Build a set to use for outdoor dining or around a fire pit.

My usual tool suspects are needed to complete it – table saw or circular saw, miter saw, jig saw, drill driver, and Kreg Jig HD or a regular Kreg Jig. It’s made from 5/4×6 deck boards, a 2x8s, and  4x4s.

Sketch of the Day: Porch Chair

A simple chair concept for a porch (as the name indicates), deck, patio, etc. All but two parts would be cut from 2×4 stock.

Sketch of the Day: Patio Chair

I picked up some of the design from the grill side table and patio buffet table to create this patio chair. Add a nice cushion for the back, and you could probably lounge in this chair all day.
