Sketch of the Day: Hut Stool #woodworking #chiefsshop

A design concept for an outdoor stool. I call it a hut stool because I plan to build several of these to use in a primitive hut I made in my back yard, around which I’ve planting a flowering vine. Hopefully the vines will fill in and cover the hut.

Quick Project: Viking Chair #woodworking #chiefsshop #vikings

Here’s a quick project plan for a Viking Chair. The two components fit together to create the seat and back. No joinery is necessary – just cuts with a circular saw (or miter saw) and a jigsaw. You’ll just need a 2x10x8.
