Plan of the Week: Garden Tool Tote #woodworking #gardening #KregJig

The Chief’s Shop Tool Tote features a drop down end to allow for long-handled garden tools or for harvesting large vegetables. The narrow width makes it easy to carry along your side, as it won’t knock into your leg as you walk.

Lumber required includes: 1×8, 5/4 x 6 decking, and 2×2. Overall dimensions: 22 inches wide x 9 1/4 inches deep x 14 1/2 to 15 1/2 inches high

You’ll need a miter saw, jigsaw, drill driver, and Kreg Jig to build it.

Sketch of the Day: Garden Tool Tote #woodworking #gardening

I call this concept a tool tote, but it could work just fine for harvesting things from the garden. The ends could flip down, being held in place by a pin at the ends and a hinge underneath.
