Plan of the Week: Beginner Side Table

The Chief’s Shop Beginner Side Table is a good starter project for new woodworkers and/or those new to pocket hole joinery. It’s about as basic as you can get, with only a small detail at the bottom of the legs. One size fastener is needed for the entire project. A miter saw, drill/driver, and Kreg Jig are needed to complete it (you can get by without a miter saw and use a handsaw or a circular saw instead).

Plan of the Week: 2×4 Bench

The Chief’s Shop 2×4 Bench makes a nice accent bench inside or a pretty perch outside. You can build it in an afternoon and you will only need a miter saw, drill/driver, and Kreg pocket hole jig to build it.
