Plan of the Week: No-Cut Pedestal Table

The  Chief’s Shop No-Cut Pedestal Table is a good beginner project in that you can complete it without having to make cuts (see my note about this in the instructions). You’ll simply need a nailer or hammer, drill/driver, and Kreg Jig to complete it.

This set of plans also has a slight layout change which I’ll be implementing for the smaller and less complex projects. You’ll also notice active links within the pdf that take you to specific pages on my site. Give me some feedback and let me know if you like the change.

Plan of the Week: No-Cut Chair

This is the second in my series of No-Cut projects – the Chief’s Shop Simple Woodworking No-Cut Chair.

As with all the No-Cut projects, you’ll need to carefully select your lumber, making sure all ends are square and each piece is the same length. You could easily make this project out of longer boards as well. I also recommend a cushion for the seat and back.

No-Cut Plan: Bench

Here are the plans for the Chief’s Shop Simple Woodworking No-Cut Bench.

Not cuts are required – just pick up (11) 1 x 3 x 2s and (11) 1 x 4 x 2s (assuming all the lumber you purchase is the same length and the ends are square). You’ll only need a drill/driver, Kreg Pocket Hole Jig, and a couple of clamps (face clamp and right-angle clamp if you have them).

You can certainly make this by cutting down longer 1 x 3s – 11 parts at 24″ long and 11 parts at 48″ long.

Give it a try and let me know what you thing – chief@chiefs-shop.com
