Plan of the Week: Work Stool/Tote

My favorite projects to create are those with more than one purpose. The Chief’s Shop Work Stool/Tote combines a stool (for seating and a leg up when working on a project), an emergency workbench, and a tote. It’s a super-quick project designed to built using a miter saw, jig saw, drill/driver and the Kreg Jig®.

Sketch of the Day: Party Table

This concept is from a recent request on my Facebook page. I was asked for a simplified version of a table that could hold containers of ice and drinks in the center.  The center simply features an opening with a slatted bottom where various containers can fit to hold ice, drinks, and refuse from meals of crab, lobster, clams, or crawfish.

If this were to become a plan, I would want to add a panel for the center that would stay in place when the opening isn’t in use and allow for a continuous table top.
