The Chief’s Shop Plant Bed is in keeping with the outdoor and gardening projects of late. It features a design element (bracket) that I use on many of my sketches and plans. You’ll need a table saw with a dado set or a router table and router with a 3/4-inch straight edge bit, a miter saw or circular saw, and a jig saw.

The Chief’s Shop Rustic Side Table is part of the Rustic Series that includes the Rustic Bench and the Rustic Stool. This project also can be built from new 1 x 6s or reclaimed 1 x 6 fence pickets. A miter saw, drill/driver and Kreg pocket hole jig are about all you need to build it.
